The Public Arts Collections was established by the Missouri Student Unions to plan, promote, and encourage programs to further the MU community's support for the artistic growth of the University of Missouri. Our team consists of students, faculty, and staff who recognize and support the important role that the visual arts play in enriching the cultural life of our campus and the community.

Lauren DiSalvo is the Curator of Public Arts at the Missouri Student Unions and oversees the Public Arts Collection. In addition to being a doctoral candidate in the Department of Art History and Archaeology, Lauren uses her position as curator to educate students, faculty, staff and visitors about the artistic history of the University of Missouri through several exhibitions on display throughout the Missouri Student Unions.

The Public Arts Collection grows, in part, thanks to donations from alumni.  If you have Mizzou memorabilia that you would like to donate, please email us at or if you are interested in getting involved.
