Public Art at MU 2025: An Annual Exhibition Curated by the MU Student Unions
Public Art at MU 2025 is here, bringing creativity and community together at the MU Student Center. Curated by the MU Student Unions, this annual exhibition invites you to engage with art that speaks from the heart. Whether through paintings, textiles, or other materials, each piece offers a unique perspective, reflecting the voices of our diverse community.
This exhibition isn’t just about looking at art – it’s about participating in a conversation. We encourage you to share your thoughts and emotions by leaving a kind message on our provided stickers. These messages will be collected and displayed in future exhibitions, creating an ongoing dialogue between artists and viewers.
This year, we’re excited to showcase works from talented student artists: Igor Arume de Souza (MFA), Rose Plank (BFA), Olivia Martinez (BFA), Niko Casazza (BFA), MacKenzie Monari (BFA), Kayla Rhoton (BFA), and Michael Webb (BFA).
Their pieces were selected from our open call last semester, and we’ve preserved the integrity of each artist's statement. By doing so, we allow their voices to come through directly, creating a more intimate connection between you and the artwork.

You can find the exhibition in two locations at the Student Center:
- Square cases on the first floor – between Panda Express and The Shack.
- Entrance to the lower level floor – offering another immersive experience as you explore more of the exhibition.
While you’re here, don’t miss the Color in CoMo exhibition on the lower level, featuring vibrant paintings from the MU Student Unions Collection.
Public Art at MU is about more than just viewing art – it’s about being part of a community that values creativity, conversation, and connection. We hope to see you there and look forward to the thoughts and inspiration you’ll bring to this shared experience.
